Offering a new interpretation of space and time, Run is an ongoing project that uses images from a GPS device which records patterns formed from my walking and jogging routes.

These patterns, the data of my daily routine, are arranged to form a “picture language.” Similar to hieroglyphics, these images work together to tell a story, and at the same time each image serves as a separate diary entry.

The immediacy and the mystery of these images coupled with the weight and permanence of the line drawing, serve as a testament to where I have been.
